contain lessons and technologies mastered throughout the course (see assignments
below).
The interdisciplinary/thematicunit, lessons and technologies will be combined
within an electronic portfolio
creating a dynamic expression of your work.

2 - Newsletter

| This assignment will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your
abilities to design a classroom newsletter. You can use a newsletter
with your class to help your curriculum "come alive". Depending
on your particular subject area, you can incorporate: student interviews,
school or local news, classroom highlights, and graphic or digital
pictures, just to name a few. |
Assignment 3 - Inspiration
| Visual learning is among the very best methods for teaching students
of all ages how to think, and how to learn. Inspiration is a visual
thinking and learning tool. With it your students can make venn diagrams,
character maps, and story webs. |
Assignment 4 - PowerPoint

| PowerPoint is not just for presentations. You will have opportunities
to use this presentation program to create graphically enhanced information
and instructions for learning centers, create tutorials, reviews,
or quizzes for individual students and display student work and curriculum

functions, and more. A database can help learners to integrate and
interrelate content ideas, which in turn makes the ideas more meaningful
and more memorable. Building databases requires that learners organize
information by identifying the relevant dimensions of the content.
