You will demonstrate your web authoring skills by creating a WebQuest. A WebQuest is an inquiry oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet. You will create an educational web site which will include the systematic process of creating a WebQuest. Throughout this assignment you will demonstrate your abilities to author web pages, search for appropriate resources, and upload documents to Internet.
During this lesson you will learn how to create and post web pages. In order for you to integrate web pages into your curriculum, you will be required to create and post a WebQuest lesson.
A WebQuest is defined, by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University, as "an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet."
WebAuthoring
After you create your WebQuest you must upload it to any free site. Most students use freewebs because it is the most user friendly but you may use any free site. Do not pay for anything.
